Midterm Election Set Up
Will, Sydney, Charlie, Jarret and I decided to do a story of the set up of the mid term elections. We got into contact with both the town manager and the town clerk. We were able to interview them both and I think that they turned out pretty good. Charlie filmed the interviews and Jarret did the sound.
It was really cool to learn about what actually went into the setup of such a major event, and I was definitly surprised that they only begin setting up a few days in advance. I also thought it was really cool how much interest they expressed in having younger people help run it. If you know anyone that can hear and is 18 or older - send them to the Town Hall!!!!
Unfortunately, I was out for a few days this week so I wasn't as much help as I could have been. At the beginning I acted as the director of the film, but unfortunately, when I got sick, I was not at school so I could not play that role. When I was gone, Will and Sydney filmed B-roll for the film which was really helpful. Now, I am editing and putting together the film, trying to be as much help as I can especially after I missed those days.

I think so far, that It has actually turned out pretty good. Charlie did a great job filming the interviews and so the shots look very sharp. The only problem Is with the sound, it is very quiet. I think I can fix it and I will play around with it, but I think that we are off to a very good start and I am excited to see how the actual midterm elections go.
The final project turned out really well. After filming wills stand ups 4 times, I have learned so much about what to do and what not to do. We made many trips to the town hall, many tripd trying to figure out where to shoot, what worked and what didnt.

Although this project wasnt even my idea, I am so happy that I decided to take this on - because of how much work its given me and because of everything I have gained from working on it.
